How to Order

A $500 deposit is required to place an order for a side of beef or whole beef. Deposits will be deducted from final invoice. Processing will begin in mid-October with shipping starting in late October, throughout November and at times into December depending on weather. Once hanging weight on your beef is determined, you will receive an invoice based on the hanging weight of your beef. You will receive a confirmation by email immediately following placing your order. If you do not receive confirmation, please check your spam folder. If you do not receive a confirmation, your order did not process.  Full payment is required before your order is picked up in the Fall.

Deposits are non-refundable after September 1, 2024. Changes to your order or, special shipping requests must be noted on your order. Any changes, cancellations or special shipping requests must be submitted by email to info@alaskameat.com no later than September 1, 2024.

Whole/Side of Beef

Orders Delivery Date: Fall 2024

All orders will be cut, wrapped, frozen, and shipped to Kodiak from our ranch on Sitkinak Island. Pricing is based on the hanging weight so you don’t pay for the skin, head, or stomach. You can buy either a whole or half beef. Prices are as follows:

2024 Prices: Side of Beef $10.34 per pound hanging weight. Whole beef orders $9.45 per pound hanging weight.  

Cost of your order is based on the hanging weight of your beef and, shipping cost is determined. Shipping rates are not available until Fall.  Processing will begin mid to late October.  You will receive your final invoice once hanging weight is determined.  Orders are then processed and frozen.  Shipping will take place in October throughout November, at times into December pending weather.  Please allow at least 1-3 weeks after receiving your final invoice to receive your order.  You will be notified by phone or email once your order arrives at the closest shipping facility near you.  Full payment is required before you pick up your order.

Credit card fees

There will be a 3.5% credit card fee added to all orders.

Body Parts That Are at No Additional Charge (when placed with an order of beef).  We will do our best to fulfill requests but cannot guarantee all will be filled.

Shipping & Handling

Shipping from our ranch to Kodiak is figured into the purchase price, but shipping beyond Kodiak is an additional cost. Shipments will go to the Ace or Alaska Air Cargo closest to your location where you will need to pick it up.

Shipping to Anchorage has been averaging around $0.75 per pound, but shipping rates vary.  Shipping rates will not be determined until Fall of 2024.

Customer is responsible for actual shipping costs and will be added to final invoice.

Please allow 1-3 weeks from receiving your final invoice to receive your order.  Orders will be shipped to the closest shipping facility near you.  You will have approximately 3-5 days once notified that your shipment has arrived, to pick up your order.  If you need more time, please let the carrier know.  Please do not use paying for your invoice as a way to delay your ship date.  Orders are palletized and moved from Sitkinak to Kodiak and, from Kodiak to its final destination.  We cannot provide tracking or updates during these transitions.
