How to Order

A $500 deposit for a side of beef will be required for all orders. New this year, ALL customers are required to make a deposit at the time of the order. All deposits will be deducted from final purchase price once we have the total cost of your order based on the hanging weight of your beef. Full payment is required in the fall before delivery.

Whole/Side of Beef

Orders Delivery Date: Fall 2021

All orders will be cut, wrapped, frozen, and shipped to Kodiak from our ranch on Sitkinak Island. Pricing for initial sale is based on the hanging weight so you don’t pay for the skin, head, or stomach. You can buy either a whole or half beef. Prices are as follows:

What to expect

Each animal will be different in weight, and selected randomly for each customer. Hanging weights will range on a Whole Beef from 180 to 300 lbs per beef depending on body size. So please specify if you’d like a large, medium, or small one. Our average weight is 250 lbs for a whole beef. So with that average you can figure what to expect (but your end price will vary depending on carcass hanging weight and cut selection).

Order Information:

The information below is provided from an example of a Regular Package – (4 steaks per package) Based on average 157 lbs yield:

Ground Beef = 40 – 2# packages
Roasts = 7 – 4# packages

Steak = 15 – 2# packages
Ribs = 4 – 3# packages

Soup Bones = 3 – 2# packages

You can customize this package. If you would like more beef, please specify which cuts you’d like to be ground (i.e. no ribs, less roasts, etc). Please remember that customizing your package will change your final take-home weight of your order. In general, if you reduce the number of bone-in cuts in your order your final take-home weight will be reduced as those bones and trimmings are discarded and the beef off of the bone is ground and packaged.

Shipping & Handling

Shipping from our ranch to Kodiak is figured into the purchase price, but shipping beyond Kodiak is an additional cost. 

Shipping to Anchorage has been averaging around $0.60 per pound, but shipping rates vary.

Customer is responsible for actual shipping costs and will be added to final invoice.
