Thank you.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Your order is confirmed for Sitkinak Ranch beef! Thank-you for your commitment to buy local Alaskan products and support Alaska’s agricultural industry. We believe it’s more important than ever right now to support local producers to help ensure food security – we appreciate you doing your part! We truly aspire to provide the highest quality local beef product available in Alaska. You can’t beat, WILD BEEF!

What to Expect Next…

Please don’t be surprised that you won’t hear from us until this fall. We are planning to start processing cattle in the middle of October and will begin shipping beef as soon as we have it cut, wrapped, and frozen (and the weather allows). Once we have a hanging weight on your beef we will email you an invoice for payment. On your invoice you will see a column labelled “POUNDS” that is adjacent to the type of beef you ordered (e.g. Medium Side). This will have the hanging (billable) weight of your beef. In the next column, you will also have the “RATE” or the price per lb of the beef. In the final column, will be the “AMOUNT” which is the RATE multiplied by the POUNDS. If you live outside of the Kodiak area, you will see a corresponding row that contains the Shipping & Handling charges. The AMOUNT of the Shipping & Handling charges will be based on the “take-home, boxed weight” of your beef. Please remember that this is less than the hanging weight, as the inedible portions of the carcass have been removed. Your final invoice will reflect the deposit made. Once your order has been processed and frozen, it will ship to the carrier closest to your location. We cannot provide tracking or shipping status during this time. Shipping times will vary and are dependent on carrier availability and weather. Please allow at least 1 -3 weeks after receiving your final invoice to be notified that your shipment is ready for pick up. Once it is received at the final destination by the associated freight company they will call or email you for pick-up. Please do not use paying your final invoice as a way to delay your shipment. Orders are palletized to be moved from Sitkinak to Kodiak and, from Kodiak to its final destination. You will have 3-5 days, depending on carrier, to pick up your order. If you need more time, please let the carrier know. Final payment must be received prior to picking up your order.

If You Want to Change or Cancel Your Order or, request special shipping…

Please contact us by September 1st to make any changes to your order or, to cancel your order. Deposits are non-refundable after September 1st, 2022. Special shipping requests must be submitted by email to info@alaskameat.com no later than September 1, 2022. Changes cannot be made after September 1, 2022.

If You Are Unhappy With Your Order…

If you unhappy with your order for any reason or have any questions about the process, the meat, or the timelines please let us know and we will do our best to make it right with you! We are dependent upon our loyal customer base and believe in providing as much transparency, honesty, and accountability as possible from a remote location.

As the days are getting longer, we will be spending more time in the sun and further away from the computer. Please remember that communications can be a bit slow on Sitkinak and we are sometimes limited on logistics by weather especially during processing. We will try to keep everyone updated as the year moves along.

Thanks again for choosing Sitkinak Beef,
